Hello, my name is Bruno Casali (@brunoocasali everywhere), I'm from 🇧🇷.

I came to Meilisearch in January of 2022, this is my second job outside of Brazil, I'm kind of new regarding the English-speaking part 🙈.

I work with IT since 2013 but I play around with programming a little bit earlier. I'm a huge fan of Ruby and Ember.js, I really love the community behind them.

Here at Meilisearch, I'm the manager of the amazing Integrations Team which maintains all the integrations we had officially like Ruby, Java, Dart, PHP, Go, JavaScript, .NET (and many others).

Since I need to be aware of multiple different languages (and paradigms) at the same time, it forces me to think outside the box and definitely made me a better developer. But of course, none of that is easy since the Ruby world is (most of the time) strongly opinionated about how your code should look, and as a Ruby dev I want to deliver that to all the languages I work on.
